The forum web site was useful. I will be sharing the insight with our technology director and see if he is aware of the reports and web site. More than likely, the insights and information can assist in providing talking points and discussion items for district and building level/technology leaders.
The interesting facet in education is that each district is alike yet so unique. District vision and $ available drive decision making.

The STaR Chart is a great tool for technology committees to use in order to come to a common understanding of the current status of technology in the district. The four reports found at this website contain a wealth of information. I especially like the emphasis on the need for professional development, good curriculum, and improved assessments.
